2024 TALENT ACADEMY FOR LEADERS:  OBJECTIVES

​The Talent Academy for Leaders is different than most other leadership development programs.  Why?   Because most leader programs only train on competencies and they fail to provide insight into behaviors.   Our program marries behavior with competencies, including communications, coaching, conflict, engagement, change and teamwork.  If leaders make this critical connection, they can achieve exponential results.   On average our graduates experience a 135% improvement in confidence and awareness upon completing the program.   

 

As a result of the program, leaders. . .   

  • Gain greater self-awareness so that leaders have a roadmap for their leadership success and their direct reports' day-to-day success.

  • Adapt natural leadership behavioral tendencies to better lead, motivate, direct, and develop direct reports.

  • Communicate more effectively and provide feedback for greater impact and action in others.

  • Coach to proactively boost the productivity of performers and build competence in those that may be falling short.

  • Deal with conflict by having employees understand their resistance to conflict and take ownership of their conflict and providing support for overcoming conflict.

  • Engage and retain talent by identifying style tendencies and what matters most to each and then responding appropriately.

  • Drive change by identifying those that may be resistant and tailoring an approach to gain their buy in.

  • Diagnose the root causes of team conflict and non-collaboration.  Apply concepts learned in a capstone case study.

Virtual Open Enrollment Public Program is delivered via Zoom one half-day (8:30 AM to 12:30 PM Pacific) every week for 8 total sessions.  The open enrollment program includes the EverythingDiSC management assessment and report. 

Customized Private In-Person or Virtual:  Private programs are customized to organizational and group needs with any catalog topic, delivered virtually or in-person anywhere in the world.   We primarily use DISC; however, customization also includes the ability to incorporate Hogan, BirkmanPredictive Index (PI), and/or Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) methodologies.  Training can also be delivered with no behavioral component.   Our trainers are certified in all of the aforementioned assessments and can best advise on which will meet your development needs.   Please contact us for private program pricing.  We also offer private mid-level leader development.

* State Subsidized:  Pre-authorized to use Talent Authority’s California state funding.  Contact Training@TheTalentAuthority.com for details. Once materials are sent, employers will be invoiced for missed sessions / ineligible trainees at $100 per session (max $800).   $350 enrollment fee, once invoiced, is non-refundable; however, can be transferred to another attendee.  In 2024, trainees must earn at least $23.15 or more per hour (see registration details).

Registration Details  

Facilitation via Zoom. Trainees need to be in a private space with (1) their own computer, (2) webcam on and (3) connected audio (phone or computer). Binders with materials, planners, resources will be sent via USPS one week before program starts.  Recording and screen capturing is not permitted.
