Leaders need to gain more self-awareness.   They need to understand why they lead in the way that they are.  Most importantly, they need to understand the impact that their behavior is having on others, including direct reports.   Individuals take the DiSC assessment prior to the session and uncover how to apply the results to their everyday.   This course prepares managers and leaders to successfully engage, motivate, and develop their people.  The DiSC methodology is reinforced in all of the following modules because if leaders do not take behavior into account, they are just using a one-size-fits-all approach as a leader and not getting the results they need.
